A month or so ago I posted about The Runny Bunny, maker of exquisite hybrid figurines. When I came across Deerman at one of Design for Mankind's giveways I thought he must be from the same range - but no! Deerman is the work of Melabo (a.k.a. Megan Bogonovich), a different etsy seller who also dabbles in the magic of combining old clay casts to create new creatures. How clever! I'd seen her work before but had lost the link (I must learn to be a better bookmarker!).
I recommend taking a look at Megan's website. She has a series of pieces of people swimming (I guess) through coral which are pretty amazing.
